Check-in

All check-in and bag drop desks, as well as airline desks, are located on the ground floor of the main terminal building. If you are travelling with small children you are permitted to take liquid baby milk, baby food and sterilised water on your flight, all of which are not currently subject to the 100ml limitations (any other liquids are). All liquids are still subject to screening and must be presented along with other liquids at security.

Play areas

There are three soft play areas for children which make travelling with small children a lot easier. You’ll find them in the main departure lounge opposite The Liquorice Tree, opposite Gate 2 and in the south-east pier beside Gate 15.

Eating

The majority of the food outlets are family-friendly and provide high chairs and children’s menus. The Gathering offer one free children’s meal for each full paying adult.

At the Visit Scotland Information Centre there is a wide range of information about events, travel, accommodation and places of interest in Edinburgh and Scotland.
